Step 5:  Clean Up - Smoke & Soot Removal

Cleaning of smoke, dust, and soot from your surfaces.  After a fire you will find that your property looks dark, stained, and charred.  Cleaning this will be your technicians first job of fire cleanup.  Items that are too damaged to be repaired will be removed and/or disposed of.  Items that are recoverable will undergo a process of cleaning and odor removal.
